It all began with a bag that was not as I had imagined it. More than three years ago, I picked up some simple beads and tried, for the first time, to turn them into a bag.

The first bag was soft, without a precise shape, almost like a small piece of fabric. I had worked so hard, but it was not what I had imagined. In the end, I took it apart.

And I started again.

For a long time I tried, made mistakes, changed things and set my work aside, only to return to it later. Each time I tried to understand how to turn those little beads into something that truly had the shape of a bag.

Then, last year, I decided to give it a real try. That is how my first black bag was born. It was simple, classic, but when I saw it finished I felt something completely new: “I made this.”

And perhaps that was the very moment I understood that I was not simply weaving beads together. I was creating something that had not existed before. Today, what I love most is still that same feeling: starting with many little beads without knowing exactly where they will take me and, after hours of work, finally seeing something take shape that exists only because I imagined it and created it with my own hands.

That is how Adelèlle was born. From an imperfect first attempt, from many mistakes, from curiosity and the desire to never stop trying.

The name comes from joining Adel, from my name, Adelina, with Belle, which means “beautiful” in French. And so Adelèlle was born: one thread at a time.
